Biography
Sarah Weiler joined the chair of ergonomics as a research associate in May 2020. She studied Physiotherapy at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences and gained a Master’s degree in Sports Technology from Aalborg Universitet in Denmark. During her Master thesis at BMW, she evaluated the car passenger’s spinal biomechanics and overall comfort in future relevant seating postures. After graduating, she worked in the development of lumbar support exoskeletons and will continue working in the field of wearable supporting systems at the chair of ergonomics. Human modelling and simulation of the effect of these systems on the user will be a part of her research.
