Getting There by Train:

From Munich Central Station by subway with one transfer (two options)

• Take the U2 toward Messestadt Ost to the Sendlinger Tor stop, then transfer to the U6 toward Garching Forschungszentrum
• Take the U5 toward Neuperlach to Odeonsplatz, then transfer to the U6 toward Garching Forschungszentrum

At the last stop, take the exit at the front of the train and turn right at the top. At the Munich Science Congress Center, take the passageway to the other side of the building. The utg is now directly across the street.

Travel by Air:

From Munich Airport via S-Bahn and bus

From the airport, take the S1 toward Leuchtenbergring to Neufahrn, then transfer to bus 690 toward Garching Research Center. At the stop at the Munich Science Congress Center, take the passageway to the other side of the building. The utg is now directly across the street.

Travel by car:

A9 highway -> Garching-Nord exit, Forschungszentrum -> toward Forschungszentrum

Turn left at the first traffic light toward Freising -> turn right at the next traffic light toward Garching Forschungszentrum Nord (Lichtenbergstrasse)

Drive to the end of Lichtenbergstrasse. Before the barrier, turn right into the Walther-van-Dyck-Strasse. Take the next opportunity to turn left, the utg is located directly across the street.
