We are excited to introduce the new research project BRONCO, which aims to enhance prevention and rehabilitation in sports. The objective of this project is to develop a digital training assistant that provides athletes with personalized feedback to prevent injuries and optimize the recovery process after an injury. The BRONCO project is funded under the ZIM (Central Innovation Program for SMEs) initiative, approved by the AiF (German Federation of Industrial Research Associations), and will run over a period of two years.
In this project, deep learning algorithms are used to create a digital twin of the athletes based on their posture and movement. This digital twin enables a detailed analysis of muscular and motor functions. We are pleased to contribute to health promotion and therapeutic support in professional sports with BRONCO.
